About BoostSuite

I know your pain.

The process of setting up or growing your new business is tough. There are so many things to wrap your head around that it can take years to even get a basic understanding of what it takes to succeed in business.

Seriously, how are you supposed to know all this when you're first starting out:

  • How to start an LLC
  • Advertising
  • Online marketing
  • Registered agents
  • Website development
  • Hiring
  • Wages and awards
  • Taxes (and how they vary state by state)
  • Contracts
  • Bank accounts
  • Human resources
  • Fit-outs
  • Leases
  • Logistics
  • PEOs
  • Product development
  • Payment processors
  • Insurance
  • Suppliers

And that's before getting into the finer details of each of these categories.

I know this because I've been there before. BoostSuite was born out of my own frustration trying to start and grow businesses.

My name is Aaron and I started my first business back in 2006. I launched a health and nutrition website, and the learning curve was steep. Not only did I need to learn how to develop coaching programs and understand my customers' needs and wants, but I also needed to learn how to deliver that information online.

This meant building a website (I bootstrapped everything because…budget), navigating my way around WordPress, choosing a theme (harder than it sounds), tracking analytics, designing and uploading a logo — all before actually venturing into online content delivery platforms.

It took me nearly seven years to fully wrap my head around the process, at which point I decided to move on from that business.

You see, as long as I can remember, I've been a foodie. I eat out, I shop in gourmet grocers, and I order obscure ingredients and products online to create gourmet meals.

My hundreds of hours spent in restaurants and cafes gave me a unique insight into what works and what doesn't, and it's something I've always wanted to put to the test. So, in 2013, I opened a cafe.

I live in a small country town with very limited food offerings and it's always driven me nuts. So, I found a prime location, signed a lease, and got to work building the cafe I've always wanted.

To do this, I had to learn about shop design (HUGELY important), construction (those walls aren't going to build themselves), suppliers, point-of-sale systems, EFTPOS, staffing, contracts, 401(k), health insurance, and everything in between.

The hardest part about it was that the information I needed for both businesses just wasn't available. Or if it was, it was presented in an overly technical, confusing, contradictory way by people who'd obviously never run their own business.

This led to hundreds of wasted hours chasing dead-end paths, right when I needed things to be clear and simple.

To make sure you don't suffer through the same frustration and challenge in your toughest moments, I started BoostSuite. My mission is to help you start and grow your business by giving you the right information right when you need it.

I've written more than a hundred articles on everything from website development to PEOs, from payment processors to content marketing, and everything in between.

If you're ready to grow your business and exceed your potential, start by diving into my website, where you'll find the simple solutions you need to take your next step.
